Surgery can be hard on its own. A  surgeons job is never easy when they are

trying to save a life.  Robots have been introduced into the surgery for helping

the surgeons do a better job. An open surgery consist of a patient being opened

up more than need to be to get a better view of what they need to do. A minor

surgery once would turn into a bigger surgery with a long recovery. Any surgery

can have a long recovery or more pain.  With the robots a surgeon can do his or

her job a lot easier. Complex procedures can now be less complex with the help

of these robots. With this new technology there is still the old practices  to a

procedure. The surgeon who is in surgery can operate the robot while in the

same room as the patient.  The robot mimics the movement the surgeon

does.With the robot they can make tiny incisions and go in using a 3d image to

see what is going on. This way helps with less pain and recovery time. They can

use these robots for all different operations easy or hard. With the 3d imaging

there is a greater vitalization to make a better procedure. It also helps with

leaving less scars on the patient. With the robots in the surgery field,  surgeons

can now reach hard to reach tumors. Cancer is not fun and it is not easy,

especially trying to cure it. Tumors grow in various spots in the body and its can

be hard to remove. With these robots can help surgeons remove the tumor and

any mass around it to be on the safe side. Robots are making it easier for

surgeons and better on the patients in the long hall.  They are improving the way

we are able to help the human body.

Military has been been experimenting with the idea of robots in combat.  They want to eliminate the amount of humans on the battlefield.  The military would like to make robots to make them faster and see better than humans.  If they can make robots that are indeed more skilled than a trained solider it would help. But it wont help if they are not equipped to take action if danger. How will these robots be able to tell the enemy from a civillain. They are being able to smell chemicals ans sense  ieds. I believe its a good idea but at the same time to me money is being wasted on machines that could not work and put a soldier in more danger. Those robots can be shot at and blown up. What if it was accompanying a soldier on a mission and it blows up? That soldier is more than likely going to be dead. If these robots become a more real possibility, i hope they work. I hope that it will eliminate soldiers dieng day after day. It would be a great thing if we can bring our troops home safe.

Should we let children form an emotional bond with robots?

This article was about a four year olds robot gift. It explains the way the child and the robot interact and the child cares deeply about it. The robot only is able to say a few words and recognize humans or certain animals.

When robots write songs

This article is about if robots can write songs like the great classical musicians. Or songs that make you weep everytime you hear it. Can robots create a melody or a Symphony?

I do not beilive we should introduce robots as teachers. A teacher to me is someone a child can look up to as a role model. Teachers can help students in a way robots cant. Teachers are human so they have emotions and experience in life to help them understand. They can sense if there way be something behind a students out burst in class. They try to make sure all there students succeed. They want to see them move up in the world. How can robots do a teachers job? Sure they can be programed to teach a curriculum but how will they know if the students are struggling. How can they know to try a different approach if there lesson isnt teaching the kids well? How can they know how to make it fun for the students? They wont because they dont have emotions. They are simply just machines programed to do a certain task.

I have grown up by my grandparents side since i was born. They have made me the person i am today. Everything in there house never changed. I can still remember where everything is set in there house.  The way the house felt as soon as you walk through the door was so warming. That is the way i want my home to be. Slowly my home is feeling that way. I am very lucky to have some furniture from there home. It helps make my place more like home. I love my grandparents an will always hold them in my heart. Thats why hamydowns are better than anything expensive. It wasnt always a good place of memory. My grandparents met on a blind date when my grandpa came back from war. Shortly after they were married and had three children. They had two boys then a girl and from what i know they had a good life. Tings do happen behind doors that most family do not know about. I was young so i couldnt comprehend or be told what was going on. i was in a different state when my grandparents had divorced. I didnt know much about it other than my grandpa moved downstairs to keep helping my grandma. i unfortunetlly do not know why they split up nor would i like to know. yes i know that sounds weird but they always showed me they loved me and took care of me. On and off for some years i had lived with them in their home with my uncle as my guardian an that was on and off again a good experience. Then it was with my birth mom as my guardian well lets say its done and over with. No matter what happened grandma and grandpa had my back. They always made sure i had everything i needed. I believe in my heart that they raised me to be the strong independent woman they wanted me to be. Unfortunately my grandmother had gotten sick and passed about 5 years ago now. There is not a day that goes by i dont think about what a beautiful and loving woman she was. my family has told me they see alot off her in me and i am honored. Ive been told i look so much like her and have the same heart and passion as she did. Its like she passed her gene on to me and my uncle with us wanting to be in health care like her.  My grandpa is still here with me and i hope he never leaves. He has taught me almost everything i know and still teaches me new things. He always makes sure i have money when i need it. He helped me accomplish a first job ,my first car, and my permit all in a few months. I call him my super hero he is always saving me from bad family or situations, he understands me. He never stopped believing in me and has always known who i was going to become before i did. Without my grandparents i wouldnt be standing on my own two feet at my age. I am still very young and have accomplished more than my parents did at my age even younger. If i were to become like anyone i would choose to be like my grandparents. Luckly i dont have to try hard because they flow through me every day. I am like a miny version of my grandpa it can be very funny when we are together. Our relationship is like a father and a daughter even being my grandpa he showed me what family is. He will never give up on me and i will never give up on him. My grandparents wisdom will  be passed on to my future children as well. Without them i would not be a beautiful,strong,independent woman.

Bottled water is becoming popular nowadays. Water from household faucet is old fashioned. People are consuming more bottled water than they used to even though they’re spending more money for them. They can come from wells, springs, artesian wells or the municipal water supply. There isn’t much difference between bottled and tap water. The point is that bottled water is convenient. Their sales increased in the last few years because of its taste. A study (Birmingham University) showed that the participants which were 23 users of bottled water believed that bottled water are healthier, safer, cleaner and have a different taste. People expect bottled water to taste better, but there’s not much difference between the brands.

my opinion: i would like to see in this what the difference is. why does it taste different? what is in faucet water that might not be in bottled water? if they explain the difference it would make a more clearer discussion
